Since childhood, I've had some kind of camera in hand. It started when my mom bought me my first disposable camera before a vacation. I snapped a photo of a roadside waterfall during a rest stop, and when I picked up the prints, the developer had stuck a coupon to the back of that particular photo along with a note that said, "Great shot!" That note was the catalyst that connected photography to art in my mind, and I've stored it in a box of keepsakes for over 30 years.

Since then, I've been constantly exploring the realm of photography, always seeking beauty in the mundane and the extraordinary. I've learned the technical skills to create great images, but more importantly, I've learned that the most beautiful photos come from genuine connections.

This means that I like taking time to understand the people I photograph; I want to know their personality, style, what makes them laugh. I want every photoshoot to feel like hanging out with a friend - as I tell people: Without you, I'm just a weirdo with a camera!
